Small Flower Pattern

I create crochet flower pattern! This is very easy and I hope crochet beginners enjoy to make the flower💕 I'll create earrings using the small flowers😊
I used two different types of yarn, but of course you can make it using one colour/type of yarn!

Sample Size: 3 cm (about 1.5")
Crochet Hook: JP 4.0 (US D-3 or E-4)
Yarn: Pink : Soufflè (Olympus/made in Japan/100% cotton/25g)
          Gray: Silk Bamboo (70% viscose from bamboo, 30% silk/made in China)

Direction:

Begin w/ sliding loop
Round1: ch1, then 10sc into the sliding loop, sl st into the first sc, then pool loop through.
Round2: ch1, 2hdc into second sc in the first round, ch3, 2hdc into second sc in the Round 1, ch1, then sl st into third sc in the the Round 1. this is the order to make one petal. You need to repeat this until you make five petals. After you make all petals, sl st into sl st you did the first of Round 2.
* If you want to change the colour, do it after you finish Round 1.

Exploring a knitting yarn store

I found a great knitting yarn store in downtown Toronto.

The store is called "EweKnit and Craft" that located at near Ossington station. They have a lot of nice yarns (mainly wool) and also have some other craft materials. The yarn price range is about $8.00 - over $50.00, so they are a bit expensive, but the store have a small sale and I got yarn with 20% discount 😊

I got new yarn named ROWAN panama and this is great for Spring and Summer items :)
The yarn details are below:

- Contents 55% Viscose, 33% Cotton, and 12% Linen
- Country of origin Italy
- Length 135m (50g)
- Price $9.20 (original price was $11.50)

I'd never gotten yarn made in Italy and I'm excited to think a new crochet pattern, but I need to finish my another stole using bamboo & silk yarn!!😅💨

Knitting Yarn for Spring!

I bought new knitting yarn for my next project!
Especially, I like "Silk Bamboo" one because yarn looks shiny, smooth and is so comfy💛💛

Yarn Description: (You can get both of them at Michael's👍)

BERNAT Handicrafter: 100% cotton/ made in Canada using US cotton
Silk Bamboo: 70% viscose from bamboo, 30% silk/ made in China

I've never used bamboo yarn,  so I'm really excited to work using it (*˘︶˘*).｡.:*♡

Small Rose Ornament Scarf

My first crochet work for spring season is the "Small Rose Ornament Scarf".
Small rose decorations make the scarf very pretty :)

Crochet Hook: 3.0
Yarn: Soufflè (Olympus/made in Japan/100% cotton/25g x 5)

Small rose is easy to make for any levels of crochet lovers, so I draw PATTERN!
I also write the instruction below:

Row 1: ch 13
Row 2: ch 1, sc 1 in next st, ch 3 skip 2 stitch, sc 1 next st. (Repeat it until the end of the row)
Row 3: ch 2, hdc 1, dc 2, hdc 2 across 3 ch stitch. hdc 2, dc 2, hdc 2 across next 3 ch st and repeat it until the end of the row. Sl st 1 in next st
Finish: roll the rose and sew the bottom using the same yarn!

My Favorite Crochet Hooks

I prefer to use Clover and Hamanaka products because those hooks are designed very simple and light.
In Toronto, I do not see hooks like the picture, but you can get Clover hooks at Michaels and Walmart😊
